THREE RIVERS RESORT "The Gateway To Taylor Canyon" is located in the historic Town of Almont. First cabins were built in the late 1800's as sportsmen discovered a paradise in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The beauty of the clear blue skies, high rugged mountains and crystal clear, trout-filled rivers provided a wonderful atmosphere - the perfect getaway. The resort is on the Taylor River and within walking distance to the East and the Gunnison Rivers. The East and Taylor Rivers come together in Almont and form the headwaters of the magnificent Gunnison River. The resort borders the Gunnison National Forest and is a short distance to both Gunnison and Crested Butte.

THREE RIVERS OUTFITTING is based out of the general store at Three Rivers Resort offering activities for all ages and abilities. Since 1984 we have been guiding rafting, fishing and kayaking trips. We stage these activities on site through our Fly and Paddle Shops. We book many other activities such as horseback riding, jeep tours, rock climbing, hiking, and mountain biking to name a few.
