Our Colorado paddlers never get any more challenging than they want from Class II to III (with 1 optional Class IV rapids on the Arkansas), with on-river overnight camps that are always suited for fun and games. Swimming holes and eddies are small and shallow, nearby hikes and trails easy to tackle. All this makes for a higher comfort level, which means plenty of time for Mom and Dad to rest easy.

When the rafting excitement on the river winds down, there's as much to do off the water in the mesmerizing canyons valleys and side hikes beyond your boat.
