SolVista Basin is a true family resort. The base lodge is centrally located between the East and West mountains, which makes it possible to explore your own mountain and still meet up with the rest of the gang at a moment's notice. With 33 runs and 25km of Nordic trails, every family member can create their own special experience.

Winter Park, with over 359 inches / 9.1 meters, has the most consistent snow, season after season.
We have 2,762 total skiable acres (1,119 hectares), including 134 designated trails and 1,467 acres (594 hectares) of off-piste terrain, including Vasquez Cirque and glade skiing.
We have 24 lifts including 8 High-Speed Express Quads, 3 Triple Chairlifts, 7 Double Chairlifts, 5 Magic Carpets and 1 Rope Tow. Uphill capacity of 33,510 skiers per hour. The Zephyr Express is modified to accommodate 20 gondola cabins for dinner service to The Lodge at Sunspot.
Snow is made on 26 trails covering 294 acres (119 hectares). Our snowmaking capabilites guarantee the opening of Winter Park before Thanksgiving. |
